The core function of the Greater Atlanta Community Science Collaboratory is to facilitate community-led research that helps advance environmental justice and improves community and environmental health. The Collaboratory achieves this by offering workshops and trainings, building networks across community-based organizations and higher education institutions, offering proposal review and facilitation for proposed partnerships, and housing resources that promote more equitable and impactful collaborations.
